Our first project was making an infomercial for the Ideal School. Some new things I learned about iMovie are how to separate the audio track from the video track so that an interviewee can continue to talk while images are shown and how to lengthen the amount of time of a title slide option. Pat and I worked with Karen on the filming part of the project. We learned that it takes a lot of video shooting to create a very short amount of quality video that can be used for a project. I was impressed with the number of different things involved with making photo and video shots more appealing. That was very interesting! Working with Pat is great! I have had it confirmed that I am a perfectionist and need to learn to let things go that are not terribly important or make a great amount of change in the overall project. It has been good having Pat as a partner, because even though I can do something more quickly than she, it is a good experience allowing her the time to learn and assisting her in that.
